Student experience is at the heart of what we do.  We engage with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the education and training we deliver meets the needs of our customers.  Chelmsford College offers full-time, part-time courses and apprenticeships in a range of vocational subjects along with English and maths GCSEs.  Every learner is entitled to free, impartial careers advice at Chelmsford College.  We have a dedicated team of trained professionals to discuss your career and training options.  

Work Experience/Study Programmes 

We match students looking for work experience and industry placements with employers. We work hard to prepare our learners for the world of work. Throughout their time at College our learners develop both the knowledge and skills needed to achieve their goals and successfully progress onto their next step, be that further study, employment or higher education.  Gaining work experience is crucial to our students’ ability to gain employability skills and explore career pathways

Apprenticeships 

We work with around 300 employers and have over 20 leading apprenticeship programmes available.  We can help match you with an employer and provide free careers advice and support. 

Adult learners and Professional Qualifications 

We have two Access pathways into Higher Education: Health and Care and Humanities and Social Sciences and a programme of short and commercial courses which are promoted throughout the year.  These courses are often delivered flexibly, in the evenings or over a number of workshops.
